Meet Beta Iota's Officers

Executive Board 2016

Keep reading to get to know a little bit about the wonderful ladies who make up our 2016 Executive Board!

Kelly Grega

Chief Executive Officer (CEO)

I am originally from a small town called Saratoga in the Silicon Valley area of California! I am majoring Broadcast News with a minor in Communications and my dream is to one day be an investigative news reporter. In my free time I love to listen to vinyl records, drive around the beautiful Rocky Mountains, and watch documentaries with my Theta sisters. My main loves in life are Theta and Carmel, CA and a fun fact about me is that I love artichokes – both as food and decoration!

Kate DesCombes

Chief Administrative Officer (CAO)

Hi there! My name is Kate and I am a junior majoring in Business Management, minoring in Leadership, and earning a certificate in Digital Media. I love spending time in the sun, playing with dogs, and learning new things. After graduation, I aim to be a consultant so I can empower others and catalyze positive change. Until then, I will continue to eat too many açai bowls and engage with the wonderful community of Boulder.

Kelsie Martin

Chief Marketing Officer (CMO)

Hello, I'm Kelsie! As a Colorado native, it should come as no surprise that I am a huge Broncos fan and that I spend a lot of time skiing and snowboarding. When I'm not on the mountain, you can find me eating nachos at Illegal Petes with my Theta sister or studying in the kitchen. I am currently a junior in the Leeds School of Business pursuing a degree in Marketing and Management.

Dana Shubat

Chief Panhellenic Officer (CPO)

Hi! I’m Dana, a junior Psychology major with a double minor in Leadership & Religion, and an Arabic language certificate! When I’m not studying or doing Theta things, I’m probably giving campus tours as a Student Ambassador, or volunteering as the Operations Coordinator for CU Camp Kesem! I am a huge fan of small dogs (clearly), My Big Fat Greek Wedding, and putting Sriracha on everything! I am originally from Southern CA but I have lived in Colorado for the past 10 years, and although nothing can beat the view of the flatirons, the beach still has my heart.

Jordan Hamrick

Chief Education Officer (CEdO)

Hi! My name is Jordan, and I am a Colorado native. I love to ski, especially at my home mountain of Winter Park, and I'm a die hard Broncos fan. I am an Integrative Physiology major with a Public Health certification, and my hope is to attend medical school after graduating from CU to train as Trauma Surgeon.

Anna Schneider

Chief Recruiting Officer (CRO)

Hello! My name is Anna Schneider, I am originally from Cincinnati Ohio, but grew up in Colorado Springs. I am Majoring in Molecular Cellular and Developmental Biology. Although I am not positive about what I want to do, I hope to use my passion for Science to help the world of Medicine. Baking is one of my great loves only second to French Fries. My favorite part of being CRO is the fact that I get to help wonderful women find their homes in the Greek Community here at CU!

Natalie Vaughan

Chief Financial Officer (CFO)

Hey there! My name is Natalie and I am a finance major with a French minor from San Francisco. My dream is to be a CFO for a small startup company one day, hopefully back in the Bay. I love spending time with my baby nephew and hiking and everything outdoors. In Colorado you can either find me in the mountains or shopping on Pearl Street!

Reed Gibson

Chief Operating Officer (COO)

Hi there! My name is Reed, and I am a junior majoring in Political Science and Elementary Education (weird combination I know). After I graduate, I would love to do Teach for America for a few years before having my own classroom! I was born and raised in Denver, but my favorite place to be is in Grand Lake hiking, spending time in the sun, and doing anything outdoors! When I'm not doing Theta things you can find me watching Gilmore Girls, worrying about things that really don't matter, and eating copious amounts of chocolate banana cupcakes from the care packages my family sends me.
